My dearest friend,
I know that you are not feeling well. I know that for you waking up each morning feels like stabbing pangs if you ever got the chance to sleep. Because sometimes you can’t, so you stay up staring at the wall wishing with a heavy heart for this to come to an end.
Chest throbbing. Eyes swollen. Drained by each and every means, physically and emotionally.

This might be what I know. But there are things I want you to know.

I want you to know that I will always hold on to you no matter what. I want you to know that I will be your naggingly painful friend to zap you back from your darkest clouds and remind you how much of importance you are. To remind you of the times we laughed our hearts out while watching Chandler’s desperate attempts to be as hot as Joey and the times we shared the Kleenex when Neil killed himself because his father stubbornly refused to let him become an actor.
I want you to know that I have seen your hidden tears, those which welled up your eyes refusing to fall. I heard the gasp that rattled your throat.

My dearest friend,
I want you to know that this tightening in your chest, your wracking sobs, and the deep shuddering breaths won’t last forever.

My dearest friend,
I am here for you. I will always do.
